Shrove Tuesday and the Boy's Birthday

Happy Fat Tuesday, or Shrove Tuesday. We celebrated at church tonight. Hard to beat pancakes -blue berry, chocolate chip, old fashion, bananna foster, needless to say I have fasted most of the day in anticipation. Good time had by all and Noah got to celebrate his birthday yet again-that makes 3 times. A quick four awesome years. We were living in our trailer then.....and now we have moved twice. Fun times.

Tracie is giving up sweets for Lent, I have not decided and will probaly have to think it over tonight. I will probaly not give up much but make a more concentrated effort to work on my disciple class. We are enjoying it, then again I may combine that with giving up potato chips.

Birthday

We had the boy's birthday today. All went well. Good crowd and I think the kids had a ball. Ate way to much, and now we are in the process of cleaning..fun. Few more pics on Flickr.

MSU got beat today in Double OT. There will be no dancing for the dawgs this year.

Well Tupelo made the national news today, I have met there ag consultant. Nice guy, I hope he was not involved in all this.

And in the world of sports, The Deuce is loose...I hope he finds another team.

Finished the fence today. Maggie is very depressed. She has inspected it fully and thinks she is in jail now.

Saturday

Great day. Cool but nice weather. The fence is coming along, I'll get it done Monday.

State loss today....but so did OM, so that help. But basketball is pretty much over now. We needed to run the table to get in the dance....that ain't going to happen. Baseball starts next weekend. T has gone to a deal at the school so I am here enjoying some quiet and a little bourbon. This wonderful weather is getting me ready for some crawfish....

Not much going on with us. Probaly yard work and hanging out. Hopefully it will be warm enough to be out a little.

The schedule for SBW was announced today. T and the family have rented a condo in Starkville for the weekend. Should be fun. The arts festival is also going to be in town.
